Hala Koszyki's 6th birthday: a journey to the colorful 80's!
For two days, the most popular food hall in Warsaw will celebrate its 6th birthday. On this occasion, the owner and manager of Hala Koszyki, Globalworth, will bring visitors back to the past and invite them to celebrate together in the style of the colorful 80's. One of the attractions will be a disco party with Papa Dance, known for such hits as "O-La-La" or "Nasz Disneyland".
Celebrating this year's birthday will take place on October 21-22 and will provide participants with many unforgettable emotions. The guests celebrating Koszyki's 6th birthday will go back to the times when the TV series Miami Vice could be watched on TV, in the Dirty Dancing cinemas, and in their free time to hunt for not easily available VHS tapes with Hollywood hits.
Music fans will surely associate the 1980s with synthesizers and dance pop music - the queen of discos of the time. The birthday of Hala Koszyki is a unique opportunity to take a sentimental journey in time and recall the musical atmosphere of those years. The hit of this year's birthday will be the Saturday concert of Papa Dance, but there will be plenty of musical attractions. DJ Hirek Wrona will appear on the stage of Koszyki, and I Say Mikey, Mikołaj Komar, Maria Bros, DJ Kocurr will take care of the thrilling DJ setting. pieces from the early years of Depeche Mode's work, as well as hits from Madonna, Cindy Lauper, Michael Jackson, Kim Wilde, Modern Talking, Duran Duran, and of course Polish stars of the 1980s. iconic slot machines, as well as visit the "Back to the Future" zone inspired by the cult movie series "Back to the Past" with Michael J. Hala Koszyki was erected over 100 years ago at Koszykowa Street in Warsaw, on the premises of the Koszyki farm at that time. Designed in the Art Nouveau style by architect Juliusz Dzierżanowski, it was only in autumn 2016 that it returned to the city map as a unique social and culinary point, where you can eat in several restaurants and bars or buy home groceries. The complex covers 16,000 sq m. office space and 6,500 sq m. commercial space. The owner and manager of Hala Koszyki is Globalworth.
