International workspace provider HB Reavis has announced it has been granted a green loan of around €161million by HSBC UK, solidifying the sustainability credentials of Bloom Clerkenwell.

Situated adjacent to Farringdon station where three underground lines intersect with the newly opened Elizabeth line as well as Thameslink, Bloom Clerkenwell has been awarded a BREEAM Outstanding accreditation, is rated EPC A and is targeting net zero carbon operation.

Targeting WELL Platinum, Bloom Clerkenwell prioritises wellbeing with 11% of the building being accessible outside terrace space, one of the highest ratios in London. A storage facility for 248 bicycles at street level that’s accessible directly from the Cycle Superhighway supports healthy commuting, while health club-style changing facilities and a fitness studio encourage a healthy working day. Fitness and wellbeing classes and Brompton bikes are bookable through the Bloom building app.

The majority of Bloom Clerkenwell has already been leased to a globally listed company, while Ready to Work, the fully fitted, managed and tech-enhanced concept on the first floor, has been leased by two (soon to be announced) sustainably minded businesses.
