Holcim opens an ecological station in Tunari, near Bucharest

\Holcim Romania, the largest producer of construction materials on the local market, announces the opening of a new ecological concrete plant in Tunari (Ilfov County), where it will manufacture and sell the first range of green concrete in the industry, with 30 percent less carbon dioxide emissions. The unit is the sixth opened by Holcim in the Bucharest-Iflov area and the 19th in the country.

"We respect the commitment made earlier this year through ECONCEPT, our new business model, and offer an integrated range of ECO products and solutions to accelerate the transition to a greener built environment", says Anca Alexandru, Director of the Concrete Division of Holcim Romania.
