Construction has begun on a 31,000 sqm facility at Panattoni Park Chomutov North, which will house logistics operations for HOPI CZ. The company will handle logistics for Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions (FHCS), the maker of Vileda cleaning products, focusing primarily on the Western European market.

The project, spearheaded by Panattoni for the RSJ investment group, aims to achieve BREEAM New Construction certification at the Excellent level. Once completed in July 2025, the modern industrial building will span 55,000 sqm.

“This is a major milestone for HOPI CZ as we expand into new markets while remaining a family-run business,” said Martin Piškanin, Chairman of HOPI HOLDING.

"The new part of the building at Panattoni Park Chomutov North will contribute to the further development of sustainable industrial construction in the Czech Republic. With its strategic location, modern technologies and green initiatives, this project will make a significant contribution to the development of the region. The site will continue to support the growth of the local economy and create new jobs, which will have a positive impact on the local community. I am very pleased that the building will be used by HOPI CZ, which is a great example of how a small local Czech company can become a Central European leader in its field," says Klára Sobotková, Regional Development Director, Panattoni.

"As an investor or owner, we are delighted to welcome another prestigious tenant. After Jungheinrich and Amazon, the cooperation with HOPI CZ is a sign that the logistics complex near Chomutov attracts big names thanks to its strategic location. I believe that by the time the new premises are completed, a fourth player will be added to the remaining 9,000m2," says Marcel Kolesár, asset manager of the RSJ investment group.

The facility will feature photovoltaic panels for energy self-sufficiency, EV charging stations, and will contribute to local biodiversity through extensive tree and shrub planting. The site’s strategic location, near key motorways in both the Czech Republic and Germany, makes it a prime logistics hub for international companies.
