The minister for family policy Katalin Novak has announced on Wednesday that the government will launch a home renovation support program. Families raising one child or more, will be able to receive government support of up to EUR 8,250, that would cover up to half of the expenses of the renovation. The works that will be supported include introduction of energy-efficient upgrades for the home, and the funding is to meet the demands, and not have a set cap on them.
