Hungarian Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto has announced via his social media channels that Hungary will be backing Chris Lidell’s nomination for the next Secretary General of OECD. The American candidate to become SG of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development has previously served as CFO for General Motors, Microsoft and International Papers. The position of Secretary General will be vacated in June next year. One of the favourites was Estonia’s president Kersti Kaljulaid, who has officially informed she will not be participating in the election race.
