Iasi City Hall invests RON 24.4 million in the development of 6.4 hectares park

Iaşi City Hall started an investment project of RON 24.4 million (EUR 4.9 million), including VAT, financed from the local budget, for the development of a park on an area of approximately 6.4 hectares in the area of the Tătăraşi neighborhood. Until now, the Iaşi city hall has launched the tender for the design and execution of the development works of the Ciurchi park. The winning company or association of companies will have three months to design the works and 33 months to execute them.

"The total land area studied is 63,769 sqm, of which the green spaces will represent 57,877 sqm, the playground 1,060 sqm, and the roads, sidewalks and access alleys 4,130 sqm. More than 120 trees, 1,000 shrubs will be planted, and the lawn area will reach about 56,000 sqm. Benches, chess tables, sports, play and fitness equipment, trash cans, pergolas, sports fields, equipment for a park dedicated to dogs will be installed,'' said Mihai Chirica, the mayor of Iasi.
