Ikea Romania sales increased by 17%

Ikea Romania's sales increased by 17 percent, and the company jumped RON 1 billion turnover with the two stores in the country. The Swedes are currently working on the third store that will be located near Timisoara.
The land on which the new store is being built was bought from businessman Ion Ţiriac in 2019 and has an area of 8 hectares.

"With the end of the financial year, Ikea recorded positive business results on the Romanian market in 2021, with an increase of 17.3 percent in terms of sales. At the same time, the company reached a turnover of over RON 1 billion ", say Ikea officials.
