IKEA will open the chain's third store this summer

The Swedish furniture retailer IKEA is preparing to inaugurate, in the town of Dumbrăvița near Timisoara, the third store in its network.

“We are currently finalizing the internal processes forwarded to complete the construction of our store. At the same time, we are taking all the necessary actions in the authorization process, so our ambition is to open somewhere in the summer of 2023," said Adriana Petre, manager of the People and Culture department within the company.

At the moment the company has started the mass hiring process for IKEA Timișoara, the company needs 250 people in almost all departments. "For 2023, our priority is the IKEA Timisoara store where approximately 300 new colleagues will join us," says the manager.
