Austrian investor Immofinanz, a subsidiary of CPI Property Group, has finalized the sale of a significant portion of the Iride office complex to businessman Alin Niculae in a transaction valued at EUR 44.7 million.

The deal involves the transfer of nearly 60,000 square meters of office space within the Iride Business Park, along with 12.5 hectares of land that holds potential for the development of an additional 300,000 square meters of office space. The sale also includes 1,028 parking spaces.

However, the transaction does not encompass the area designated for a new hospital. The Provita medical group has announced plans to establish a hospital spanning approximately 25,000 square meters within the complex. This facility has been secured on a 25-year lease agreement with Immofinanz.

This sale marks a strategic shift for Immofinanz and signifies a major investment move by Niculae’s group in the burgeoning office market of Bucharest.
