Impact receives EUR 10 million compensation from the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca

Impact Developer & Contractor wins the case, on appeal, in a process in which it requested repairs from the municipality of Cluj-Napoca.

The company received a favorable decision at the Cluj Court of Appeal for the action initiated following decisions of the Cluj Specialized Court regarding the termination of a contract concluded in 2007 between the company and the Cluj-Napoca Local Council.

The decision also orders the payment obligation of the defendant institution in the amount of RON 4.60 million to the company active in the real estate field, as well as the payment of the related legal interest in the amount of RON 5.45 million for the period 2010-2022. To these are added court costs of approximately RON 350,000.

The litigation started from an association contract that Impact signed with the Local Council of the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca, in 2007, for the development of a residential project on the land that the municipality had to contribute, namely the "Lomb Project".
