International Workplace Group expands with new Regus office in Miskolc
International Workplace Group (IWG) is expanding its Hungarian network with a new Regus location in Miskolc, responding to growing demand for flexible and hybrid working models.
The new centre will open in the Macropolis complex, a four-building development in Miskolc’s city centre near the main bus station and tram lines. The complex includes restaurants, cafés, retail, green spaces, and health services offered by Macroklinika, the largest private healthcare provider in the region. Situated 180 kilometres northeast of Budapest, Miskolc is the main city of northern Hungary, with convenient access to Slovakia, Ukraine, and Romania.
Regus Macropolis will provide a range of workspace solutions including private offices, co-working areas, meeting rooms, and creative spaces. It is designed to serve companies of different sizes across sectors such as engineering, chemicals, services, trade, and tourism. Businesses will also be able to use IWG’s “Design Your Own Office” service to tailor their space to specific operational needs.
The Miskolc opening comes after a strong year for IWG globally. In 2024, the company added 899 new centres to its network and opened 624 new workspaces, reporting record levels of revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow. In Hungary, the move reflects rising demand for flexible working arrangements as companies offer employees access to networks of offices to support productivity and work-life balance.
The new location is the result of a partnership with the building’s owner, who has invested in IWG’s platform to operate the space under the Regus brand.
