Investment of over RON 21 million for the construction of an industrial park in Ştei, Bihor county

The Bihor County Council, in partnership with the Oradea Local Development Agency have started an investment project of RON 21.3 million which involves the construction on an industrial park in Ştei, Bihor county. The land has a total area of 13.6 hectares, divided into 25 parcels, with areas ranging from 1,800 to 9,000 sqm, according to a press release from CJ Bihor.

"The purpose of this project is to bring jobs closer to the people of Bihor who live here and to offer the possibility of the economic development of the area, as has happened in recent years in Oradea. In parallel with these works, the procedures for establishing the companies that will make investments here, with the possibility of obtaining non-refundable European financing, between 200,000 and EUR 2.5 million, will be carried out", said Mircea Mălan, the vice-president of the Bihor County Council, in a press release.

The project was started by the mayor's office of Ştei, and the location was taken over by the Bihor County Council to continue the investment. The works will be executed by the association of companies Precon Transilvania from Oradea and Citadina 98 from Galaţi.
