Năvodari saw big residential development in the last five years, when almost 8,000 apartments and houses were put into use. The information announced by the developers indicates another 3,000 homes that will be ready by the end of this year.

At an average price of EUR 75,000 for a house, the calculations indicate investments of almost EUR 1 billion that were put in place in the city of Năvodari, which is attached to the Mamaia Nord area, on the tourist map of Romania.

"The area has developed chaotically in terms of infrastructure. Especially in the summer, when construction equipment arrives, it is not a pleasure to stay here. Hotels are no longer built, nor aparthotels, so it becomes a habit to rent apartments on Booking or Airbnb mode. Many campsites disappear, because blocks of flats are being built on their lands ", say the representatives of the Pirivoli campsite, from Năvodari.
