Timișoara City Hall has approved the Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ) for the area of the former Abattoir, land owned through an offshore by businessman Ion Țiriac.

On the land owned by Țiriac Imobiliare, the rehabilitation of heritage buildings and the reconversion of the former industrial space of almost 5 hectares into a modern neighborhood, with three blocks of apartment buildings, public squares and green spaces are proposed. The investment in Timișoara is divided into three stages.

Of the 11 buildings originally built, only 5 have remained undemolished today and require interventions. These are in acceptable condition, but the land is decommissioned.

A four-story commercial complex can also be built on the land, as well as an office, hotel and residential complex of 2B+G+11F.
