Jakub Budych joins Peakside as the Business Development Director

Seeking to strengthen Peakside Capital Advisors' position in the warehouse real estate market, the company continues to develop its Polish organization. Jakub Budych has joined the team as Business Development Director and will be responsible for the company's expansion in Poland.

Jakub Budych joins Peakside with a wealth of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He boasts a proven track record of numerous transactions worth approximately EUR 2 billion and valuations totaling EUR 11 billion. In his new role, Jakub will leverage his extensive expertise to drive forward the expansion of Peakside's logistics real estate segment in Poland. He will be instrumental in sourcing and developing new business opportunities, evaluating potential targets, and overseeing ongoing projects.

Jakub Budych is an experienced professional with several years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a track record of numerous transactions (approximately €2 billion) and valuations (€11 billion). He will now translate these into developing Peakside's position in the logistics real estate segment. As development director, he will be responsible for scaling up Peakside Capital Advisors by identifying and developing new business opportunities and evaluating targets and ongoing projects in Poland.

The company invests in modern logistics and manages entrusted properties along the entire value-added chain. The best example is the development of Warsaw's City Point Targówek project, which has a target leasable area of 100,000 sqm. My goal is to support Peakside in finding new business opportunities and developing more Urban Logistics projects. In addition to Warsaw, we want to pursue new greenfield and brownfield investments in other cities in Poland," comments Jakub Budych, Business Development Director at Peakside Capital Advisors in Poland.

Prior to joining Peakside, Jakub was associated with 7R, where he played a key role in co-creating and executing sales strategies, managing investor relations, and seeking new investment opportunities. In 2023, he was responsible for one of the largest warehouse center sales transactions in the Polish market. His prior experience also includes roles at Cushman & Wakefield in their capital markets and valuation department, as well as work for Knight Frank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.He graduated from the Poznań University of Economics, Faculty of Management, with a degree in capital investment and corporate financial strategies and completed postgraduate studies in real estate valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology. For nearly 10 years, he has also held a professional license as a real estate appraiser.
