Janex expands operations with new lease at MLP Pruszków II
Janex, a Polish food producer and supplier, has signed a lease for approximately 11,700 sqm of additional space at MLP Pruszków II. This new facility, which is double the size of its existing space at the logistics park, is scheduled to be operational in April 2026.
The lease includes 1,500 sqm of office space and 10,200 sqm for industrial and food processing operations. Over 70% of the facility will be dedicated to refrigeration and freezing, with the remaining 30% allocated for food processing. The facility will employ 180 people.
Janex has been a tenant at MLP Pruszków II since 2018, currently occupying 5,200 sqm. The new facility will supplement, rather than replace, its existing operations.
According to MLP Group, the facility has been designed with energy-efficient and environmentally friendly systems. The refrigeration system will use potassium formate, which has minimal environmental impact. Janex will also follow international food safety standards, including BRC and IFS, with quality control overseen by a team of experts and accredited laboratories.
MLP Pruszków II is a logistics center located near Warsaw, with a planned total rental area of 427,000 sqm. Some buildings within the complex have received BREEAM certification. The park has access to road and rail transport links, including the A2 motorway and international railway connections.
MLP Group follows a "build & hold" strategy, retaining ownership of its logistics parks and managing them after construction. The company focuses on tenant support, built-to-suit solutions, and ESG-compliant infrastructure, including rooftop photovoltaic installations.
