Jens Fieber appointed Managing Director of HIH Projektentwicklung
Jens Fieber, a seasoned expert in the property sector, has been appointed Managing Director of HIH Projektentwicklung, effective August 15, 2024. With over 13 years of experience in project development, acquisition, asset, and investment management, Fieber is set to lead the expansion of the company’s third-party business and enhance its service offerings for both new and existing clients.
Fieber, 37, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as Executive Commercial Director at EDGE Technologies. His extensive career also includes key positions at Swiss Life Asset Managers (formerly Corpus Sireo) and Catella. Most recently, he served as Young Leader Chair Germany at the ULI Urban Land Institute, where he played a significant role in asset management, project development, and acquisitions across Europe. During his career, Fieber has overseen the acquisition, development, and sale of more than 150,000 square meters of office and mixed-use space.
In his new role at HIH Projektentwicklung, Fieber will focus on expanding the company’s third-party business, particularly in the area of advanced yet distressed project developments. He aims to leverage his expertise to capitalize on promising opportunities in this sector, enhancing HIH’s capabilities as a service developer.
Frank Kindermann, who has served as Managing Director of HIH Projektentwicklung and Head of Asset Management at HIH Real Estate since April 2024, welcomed Fieber to the team. “Jens Fieber is a proven expert in project development. Given the current market conditions and the need for sustainable transformation of building stocks, the integration of asset management and project development is crucial. Jens’ expertise will be invaluable in efficiently realizing the potential for upgrading our managed portfolios, whether through densification or refurbishment. We also aim to utilize our capacities to successfully complete problematic project developments for institutional investors,” said Kindermann.
Fieber expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “I am excited to bring my experience in project development and acquisition to HIH Projektentwicklung. We see significant potential in the area of advanced but distressed project developments, and I look forward to expanding our business segment in this promising field.”
With Fieber at the helm, HIH Projektentwicklung is poised to strengthen its market position and deliver enhanced value to its clients through strategic project development initiatives.
