Jeroen van der Toolen steps down and leaves Ghelamco Poland

As of 14 April 2023, Paul Gheysens, owner and founder of Ghelamco, takes over as President of the Management Board of the Ghelamco companies in Poland, and Jaroslaw Zagórski becomes the new Managing Director, replacing Jeroen van der Toolen in this position.

The Management Board was also expanded with the addition of new members: Michael Gheysens, Marie-Julie Gheysens, Chris Heggerick i Rafal Gierczak.

Jeroen van der Toolen posted on his linkedin account, "After 21 years, I have decided to leave the company and today officially resigned as President of the Board of all Ghelamco companies in Poland. It was a very difficult decision for me, especially as it was a great pleasure and honour to lead our amazing team which I’m very proud of. We have been an unbelievable successful team together; we made history by changing the Warsaw skyline and initiating the change of the Wola district into THE PLACE TO BE in Warsaw. We have been continuously setting new quality and innovative benchmarks in Poland. However, after 21 years, it is time for me to make a change in my life and go for new challenges and experiences. With my family, we decided to start this new phase of life with a break, and we moved last January to Cape Town. Don’t worry, I will be back :-)."
