Jiří Kos become new sales director of Obermeyer Helika

Obermeyer Helika, a Czech design and construction consultancy, has strengthened its management and appointed Jiří Kos as Sales Director, who will focus on the acquisition of new projects and clients. He will build on his many years of experience working in senior positions at design and development companies, including architectural firm Chapman Taylor, where he worked for 12 years. From his position as associate director, he has since moved to a property development and investment company.

Jiří Kos studied architecture at the Czech Technical University and during his studies he focused on design and practical application of the acquired knowledge. He is professionally interested in the technical and economic aspects of project preparation as well as in the issues of negotiating and permitting buildings. His hobbies include travelling with a caravan and photography.

He has been involved in many successful projects during his professional career. He solved the technical block of the air traffic control building in Jenč, co-created and brought to realization the new face of the arrival Terminal 1 of the Václav Havel Airport in Prague. Among the unmissable Prague projects in which Jiří Kos participated as a co-author and project team leader are The Flow building on Wenceslas Square.
