Jiří Stránský to lead new CBRE team in pro-advice for sustainability and responsible investment

Jiří Stránský (35) has taken over the management of the new department of CBRE, a world leader in commercial real estate services, which will focus on providing professional advice to clients in the area of ​​responsible investment, corporate governance and building sustainable real estate portfolios. As the new Head of Sustainability, it will co-create and coordinate proposals for comprehensive ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategies that respond to the growing trend of corporate social responsibility and sustainable approach to the environment in line with the Green Deal for Europe. This includes, among other things, strategic consulting for energy-efficient and healthy buildings, including implementation through the BREEAM, LEED and WELL certification process.

Jiří Stránský is a graduate of the master's degree program in Buildings and Environment at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He actively participates in the activities of the Czech Green Building Council and is an accredited professional of BREEAM, LEED and WELL. His interest in sustainable construction was already evident during his studies in the selection of appropriate internships, however, he did not fully manifest himself until after graduating from RUBY Project Management, which was previously part of the international PM Group. In this company focused on the management of real estate projects and constructions, Jiří gradually developed into the head of the sustainability department. Among other things, he participated in the certification process of the Rustonka, Aspira Business Center or Mississippi House and Misouri Park office buildings, the rental housing project for Domeq II + III students and the expansion of the Chodov shopping center.
