Jumbo increases its sales in Romania

The Greek retailer of toys and decorations, Jumbo, increased its sales in Romania, in April, by approximately 10 percent compared to the corresponding month of last year. In total, sales in Romania, for the first quarter of 2024, increased by approximately 12 percent, compared to the corresponding period last year.

Jumbo ended 2023 with 85 stores (53 in Greece, 5 in Cyprus, 10 in Bulgaria and 17 in Romania). For this year, the group's goal is to open three more stores in Romania.

In 2023, the group opened an online store in Romania, to which is added a physical store in Iasi. The store in Iași was inaugurated in the fall, being the 17th locally.
