Katowice office space to exceed 1 million sqm by 2023

Thanks to falling vacancy rates and high development activity, the Katowice office market is booming, and supply is expected to surpass 1 million sqm by 2023. Developers have accelerated construction of new projects in response to growing tenant and investor interest, according Colliers. Katowice is distinguished by the availability of high-class office space. At the end of the first half of 2020, office stock amounted to 560,000 sqm. The city is ranked fifth in Poland among regional markets. At the end of the first half of 2020, there was 238,000 sqm of modern office space under construction, while another 220,000 sqm is planned for delivery by the end of 2023. The largest projects include the KTW II skyscraper (39,900 sqm), two office towers at the Global Office Park (53,700 sqm) and the second stage of Face2Face (26,200 sqm), according to Colliers.
