Knauf Insulation unveils State-of-the-Art factory in Târnăveni, its most modern in CEE

The mineral wool producer Knauf Insulation, part of the Knauf Group, has completed the construction of the factory in Târnăveni, Mures County, the company's most modern production unit in Central and Eastern Europe, which will be inaugurated by the end of the year.

The project started at the beginning of 2023 and was completed according to plan, with the total investment reaching almost EUR 140 million.

"In the second half of the year, we are inaugurating the new Knauf Insulation unit in Romania. It is a remarkable success of the team, which will turn Târnăveni into a key location on the map of the international production of mineral glass wool," says Adrian Garofeanu, General Director of Knauf Insulation Romania and Bulgaria.

According to him, the new factory will employ over 100 people.
