Loosening the restrictions from April 9 (date until which the current regulations apply) seems unrealistic, but the opening of the economy can be counted "earlier than in June", believes the Minister of Finance, Funds and Politics regional Tadeusz Kościński.

"It may be unrealistic because we are in this third wave. It looks like we have some stabilization at the moment, but I think that - unfortunately - Christmas will do its job and despite the recommendations some part of the society will meet and this will cause the fourth wave in about 2 -3 weeks "- said Kościński.

"But I think it will be beneficial that we have more and more healers, more and more people vaccinated, so this third or fourth wave will end very quickly and then I think we will be able to open the economy very quickly," he added.

According to him, normality will start to come back "much earlier" than during the holiday season. He stressed that vaccinations have lasted since December last year, and the effects are effective after 2-3 months.

"I hope the economy will be open a little earlier. [...] I think it will be earlier than in June," said the minister.

From March 20 to April 9, hotels, shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, museums and sports facilities are closed all over the country: swimming pools, tennis courts. Learning for all age groups takes place remotely. From Saturday, the number of people in commercial and post offices was additionally limited to 1 person for two weeks. on 20 sqm, nurseries and kindergartens, hairdressing salons and beauty salons, as well as sports facilities, except for professional sports, were closed.
