KVIFF.TV Park will be at the International Film Festival again this year

International construction group HSF System is supporting the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. As part of a multi-year partnership, it is again this year building the KVIFF.TV Park, a multifunctional space that will be built as a modular structure designed by Chybik+Kristof Architects & Urban Designers.

The sixth colonnade in the form of KVIFF.TV Park was a novelty at last year's Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The modular structure attracted great acclaim. It surpassed not only the expectations of the festival and the construction contractors, but above all the visitors. KVIFF.TV Park has become a popular meeting place. Visitors can meet filmmakers here. The stage inside the temporary structure serves this purpose and has been visited by many film stars. But it is not only stars of the silver screen who have stood on the boards of the multifunctional space. The pavilion impressed with its versatility and also offered visitors many musical performances. This year, visitors can also look forward to a varied programme.

KVIFF.TV Park has grown up next to the Thermal Hotel and therefore respects its pure character. The whole project of the temporary building fits in with the concept of the film festival. "The Sixth Colonnade was another building block that underlined the uniqueness of one of the biggest cultural events in the Czech Republic. Visitors have received the new space very positively and KVIFF.TV Park has become an integral and natural part of the entire Karlovy Vary Film Festival area," says Jan Hasík, CEO and Chairman of the Board of HSF System construction group.

A positive aspect of the temporary construction is its low cost. The site on which the modular structure will be built does not need any special specifications. "Another great advantage of the modular solution is the destructibility of the whole system, so after the Karlovy Vary festival we will dismantle the building and move it to another location for another use," adds Tomáš Hess, Sales Director and member of the Board of Directors of the HSF System construction group.
