Leo Express buys Polish bus operator TigerExpress

Czech private transport company Leo Express continues its Slovak expansion, having acquired 100 percent in the bus transport operator TigerExpress. The Polish company operates six lines to Slovak, Polish and Austrian destinations such as Košice, Wroclaw, Krakow, Katowice and Vienna. The deal is the first acquisition in Leo Express history. Peter Koehler, head of Leo Express European operations said the move strengthens the company’s position in the region and that it will bring 80,000 new passengers annually.
