Lidas in Tulcea invests EUR 80 million in new factory

The Lidas company, controlled by entrepreneur Elena Anastase, which owns a bakery factory in Mineri, Tulcea county and its own network of shops, has already hired 140 people for the new frozen pastry and bakery factory it is building in Cataloi (Tulcea county) and will continue recruiting up to 200 people.

"The investment for the new Lidas factory has so far amounted to more than EUR 80 million and work is continuing. One of the biggest challenges has been coordinating the teams working on the construction of the factory. We are talking about one of the largest facilities of its kind in Europe, fully automated, where equipment has been specially designed, for the first time even for manufacturers, for Lidas," said Liviu Șotre, general manager of the Lidas bakery factory in Tulcea.
