The German discounter Lidl is in the process of acquiring a plot of land of about 3,700 sqm in the Drumul Taberei neighborhood of Bucharest from the Best Print printing house, the pre-contract being signed in 2018. The transaction is conditioned by the fulfillment of conditions such as Lidl's acquisition of a neighboring land, obtaining the building permit for the project and the clearing permit for existing trees on the land.

The trading price agreed by the parties in 2018 was over EUR 2 million and also includes an office building and an existing production hall on the ground.
