LIP Invest leases logistics property in Feuchtwangen on a long-term basis

LIP initiated talks with the tenant at an early stage so that the lease could be renewed early for a long-term period of eight years. Feuchtwangen is an important location for REHAU Automotive SE & Co. KG due to the plant located there. The company specializes in polymer-based solutions in the automotive industry. The logistics property is used for the storage, sequencing, delivery and dispatch of production products, among other things.

The logistics property has around 8,400 square meters of warehouse space, 450 square meters of office and social areas as well as generous outdoor storage areas. The property can be accessed via nine dock levellers and three ground-level access gates.

At the beginning of this year, LIP converted the logistics centre to energy-efficient LED lighting. The property's lighting originally consisted of special, dust-protected luminaires including daylight control. The latter already offered the tenant significant savings in energy costs. Thanks to the LED conversion, the tenant is now saving an additional 34,000 euros in electricity costs per year.

LIP Invest acquired the logistics property in 2018 for the "LIP Real Estate Investment Fund - Logistics Germany I". The 5th LIP logistics fund is currently being placed.
