LIP Invest logistics property in Oberkrämer completed
LIP Invest, a provider of special real estate funds in the asset class of logistics real estate in Germany, has taken over the logistics centre in Oberkrämer, Gewerbepark 40, from project developer Panattoni after a construction period of less than 10 months. The ceremonial handover to the tenant SHK | Bergmann & Franz took place in mid-December 2022 in the presence of Mayor Wolfgang Geppert, Stephan Lammers, Supply Chain Director SHK, and Daniel Pahl, Authorised Signatory of LIP Invest.
The 26,000 sqm distribution centre meets the latest standards in terms of both third-party usability and environmental awareness. With a hall height of 12.20 metres, a generous paved outdoor storage area and the possibility of subdividing it into three units, the new building is suitable for a variety of logistics processes.
On the roof surfaces, LIP's sister company AvanLog Solar is installing a photovoltaic system that can supply the tenant with green electricity dricetly. The e-charging stations for cars and trucks can also be operated with the solar power.
LIP had already acquired the property for one of its funds in 2022 as part of a forward deal. To ensure the sustainable operation of the logistics property, a long-term green lease agreement was agreed with the tenant. SHK | Bergmann Franz is a traditional sanitary wholesaler that uses the new location as its central warehouse. For this purpose, the company stores and distributes up to 30,000 items from its extensive range of goods in Oberkrämer.
