Medicover Polska takes over the network of Holmes Place fitness clubs in Poland

Medicover Polska has acquired 100% of shares in the Holmes Place fitness club chain in Poland and plans to further expand its facilities while maintaining the current standard, branding and know-how of the Holmes Place brand, the company said.

In 2020, Medicover became the owner of the Fitness World club network in Poland, and in 2018 it took over the operator of sports packages for employees - OK System (today: Medicover Sport), it said.

"We are consistently expanding our market share in fitness services, including the Holmes Place brand in our portfolio, which has been synonymous with premium class in the sports clubs category for 15 years. This investment is another example of our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, wellbeing, sport and recreation." - said Managing Director of Business Services, Medicover Polska Artur Białkowski.

Holmes Place has its own clubs in 8 countries, there are 95 clubs in total, including 4 in Poland.

Medicover operates in the field of medical services and laboratory diagnostics services. It has medical centers, hospitals, specialised care facilities and laboratories.
