Catella APAM has announced the opening of Mowgli at Chantry Place, introducing the award-winning street food restaurant to the heart of the city.

Mowgli has leased a 4,100 sq ft unit fronting Chantry Square, bringing its signature Indian home-style cooking and distinctive interiors to one of the East of England’s busiest shopping destinations. Founded by Nisha Katona MBE, Mowgli has built a strong following for its menu of Indian street food staples, including its well-known “Chat Bombs,” and for interiors inspired by Katona’s ancestral home in Varanasi. The new Norwich location is the brand’s first in the city.

“Mowgli’s opening is a fantastic addition to our dining offer and reflects our ongoing commitment to introducing high-quality brands that resonate with our visitors,” said Nathan Reidy, Associate Director at Catella APAM. “It’s another step in delivering a diverse and engaging line-up for Chantry Place.”

Alongside its dining concept, Mowgli brings a charitable dimension through The Mowgli Trust, which has raised more than £2.6 million for community and international projects. The Norwich restaurant will support East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) through local fundraising initiatives.

Catella APAM has continued to strengthen Chantry Place’s retail and leisure offering with new lettings. The arrival of Mowgli forms part of a wider strategy to enhance the centre’s dining and leisure mix, positioning it as one of the leading destinations in the region.
