Masks in public space will stay longer than other restrictions, and if any decisions are made, they will be announced next Wednesday, government spokesman Piotr Muller said.

On Wednesday, the government is to present a schedule for easing the restrictions for the coming weeks.

"This is one of the restrictions that can generally be expected to be lifted a little later than the other restrictions. It is a security measure that ensures that the coronavirus does not spread as widely as it could if it had not. masks where people congregate, Mueller said.

"As for the issues related to masks in public places, these decisions, if agreed, will be communicated on Wednesday" - he added.

Starting today, students in grades 1-3 in 11 provinces have started hybrid learning, where in recent days there have been lower numbers of new confirmed cases of coronavirus and the beauty industry has been opened: beauty salons, hairdressing salons and cosmetics. Changes in the restrictions apply in the province. Małopolskie, Pomorskie, Zachodniopomorskie, Lubelskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Mazowieckie, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Podlasie and Lubuskie.

There are still restrictions on shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, museums, and closed sports facilities. The restrictions on hotels and accommodation will apply until May 3. The number of people in large commercial and post offices is limited to 1 person on 20 sqm. Closed sports facilities, except professional sports and outdoor sports.
