Multi extends 9,504 sqm lease agreement with the Carrefour in Galeria Pestka, Poznań

Multi Poland has extended its lease agreement with the Carrefour hypermarket located in Galeria Pestka in Poznań, which is managed by this company. The property is owned by Henley Investments, an established, global and fast-growing investment firm.

The lease contract with Carrefour at Galeria Pestka in Poznań has been extended. The Carrefour hypermarket in this facility occupies 9,504 sqm. This is the third contract for hypermarkets of this brand signed by Multi Poland in the last 18 months - after the Magnolia Park shopping centers in Wrocław and Sarnia Stok in Bielsko-Biała.

"Over the past seven years, we have made Galeria Pestka an attractive retail location in Poznań with a vibrant and balanced tenant mix that will continue to thrive," said Frederic Rouleau, Country Asset Manager Multi Poland. "During this time, we have expanded our commercial and service offer with attractive chain brands. There are still locations on the market where classic large-format hypermarkets are successful. An example of such a store is Carrefour in Galeria Pestka, which is located near the largest housing estates in Poznań. The local hypermarket is a grocery store of first choice for local residents. I am convinced that the extension of the contract with Carrefour will lead to a consistent increase in the attractiveness of Galeria Pestka," added Rouleau.

"Our store has built a strong position on the local market and has many loyal customers. We are convinced that the landlord's activities related to the expansion of the tenant mix and the promotion of the shopping center will allow us to further increase the satisfaction of Poznań residents with shopping in Carrefour and to attract new customers," further added Prędka.

Galeria Pestka has been managed by Multi Poland since 2014. In 2021, the new owner of the Henley Investments center extended the contract with Multi for the management and commercialization of the facility for three years.
