The Negoiță family of the mayor of sector 3, Bucharest, purchased the land of over 10 hectares of the former Tubinox pipe factory in Bucharest from the Indian steel group Viraj, at a price of approximately EUR 10 million. According to the urban indicators specific to the area, the land allows the development of a possible built area of 300,000 sqm, the equivalent of a residential project with over 3,500 apartments. The property borders the 13 hectares of the former Republica plant, bought in 2014 by a company of the City Hall of Sector 3.
