The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel, a new addition to the airport’s infrastructure, has reached structural completion. The four-star hotel, developed by WING in partnership with Budapest Airport, is set to open in the second quarter of 2025. Conveniently located within walking distance of Terminal 2, the 167-room hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers.

This project marks WING’s second development at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, following the successful launch of the ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel in 2018. The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel will expand the airport’s accommodation offerings, complementing the existing three-star ibis hotel with higher-end services and facilities.

Noah Steinberg, CEO of WING, expressed his pride in the project, stating, “Our new terminal-connected hotel will meet the highest quality standards for guests wishing to stay near the airport. As Hungary’s largest international airport, this development is a significant milestone for both WING and the airport, further enhancing its service infrastructure.”

The hotel will feature a variety of amenities, including a 150-seat conference space, two meeting rooms, a fitness center, and a rooftop sky bar. The design, focused on sustainability, aims for BREEAM certification, making it one of Hungary’s first hotels to achieve this standard. Ester’s Partners is handling the interior design, ensuring spaces are both stylish and functional for business and transit travelers.

Balázs Bogáts, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Budapest Airport, noted, “The construction of this new hotel is a crucial step in maintaining high-quality, comfortable, and diverse services at the airport, especially as passenger numbers continue to grow.”

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel is part of a broader expansion plan to strengthen Budapest’s position as a key international business and tourism hub. Managed by Accor, the hotel’s final construction phase is underway, with interior fit-outs being completed by Bernecker Zrt.

Upon completion, the hotel will not only provide additional accommodation but also enhance the airport’s capability to meet the demands of increasing passenger traffic and higher service standards, contributing significantly to the region’s tourism and business sectors.
