New retail park STEHELČEVES near the D7 motorway towards Kladno opens this week
The official opening of the STEHELČEVES retail park with a range of stores of popular international brands will take place on Thursday, December 7, when all its stores will be open. However, the first shopping opportunities will be available to customers from the beginning of this week. The new park is located at exit 9 of the D7 motorway towards Kladno, close to Václav Havel Airport. The main tenants include BILLA, dm-drogerie markt, Don Pealo, Pepco and Super zoo. The Popeyes fast food restaurant with drive-thru service will open in mid-December. There will also be a McDonald's restaurant in the park from February next year.
The retail park offers a total of 3,300 sqm of leasable area and is the first stage of a project in Stehelčevs by the developer and construction company ABP HOLDING and the design office FABIONN, which has long experience with retail parks. The total investment exceeds EUR 200 million. The real estate agent for selected areas of the project is the Prague office of Cushman & Wakefield.
"We are very pleased that we managed to successfully complete the construction of the retail park within a short period of nine months. Today, there are a total of seven separate shops and a fast food restaurant for shoppers. The tenant mix is highly attractive to shoppers and the introduction of a bus service to the park is also a plus. There are also four charging stations for electric cars," said Jiří Procházka, CEO of the development and construction company ABP HOLDING.
The new park is designed to meet the current demands for a superior customer shopping experience and overall comfort, including a generously designed parking system. Individual parking spaces are an extra 3 metres wide and 5 metres long, ensuring smooth movement of cars. The complex offers a total of 134 parking spaces. The retail park will also accommodate customers with electric cars, who will be able to use two double-sided charging stations. The park also houses an AlzaBox for parcel collection and an ATM.
The retail park also meets a number of sustainability criteria. For example, the rainwater management has a very modern solution. This is drained into a newly built reinforced concrete underground tank from the roofs of the buildings and also from the parking areas, via an oil separator. It is then distributed to the green areas of the site via pumps during the required period. It is thus an automatic irrigation system for the green areas, using all the rainwater captured. At the beginning of next year, a photovoltaic plant will also be launched on the roof of the buildings, so that their operation will also use energy from a renewable source.
In the future, a further phase of retail space is planned for the Stehelčeves site with 3,500 square metres of lettable space, including the possibility of setting up a manufactory, and a 1,000 square metre leisure urban zone.
