The Leroy Merlin Wałbrzych Szczawno-Zdrój shopping centre is undergoing significant modernization to become a premier destination for home and interior furnishings. The Nhood Services Poland team is leading the re-commercialization efforts to offer a comprehensive range of products. Concurrently, Leroy Merlin, the facility owner, is renovating the centre, with completion expected in the first half of 2025.

The revamped shopping centre will feature the region’s first Leroy Merlin store, spanning 10,000 sqm, complemented by a 3,100 sqm shopping gallery. The current tenants include RTV Euro AGD, Rossmann, Piastowska Pharmacy, a Polish Post Office outlet, and a Kodak shop. Nhood Services Poland is actively seeking partnerships with brands in the construction and interior design sectors to create a balanced tenant mix.

Anna Ratajczak, Senior Leasing Manager at Nhood Services Poland, emphasizes the focus on attracting brands offering finishing materials, flooring, and furniture. “We aim to create a specialized shopping centre with a unique regional offering for people building or renovating their homes,” she stated.

The modernization includes the construction of a large-format sales hall for the new Leroy Merlin store. “We are excited to open another Leroy Merlin store in Lower Silesia, bringing us closer to residents. They will have access to a wide range of construction, renovation, and decorative products, along with expert advice and services. Professional customers will also benefit from attractive offers and support,” said Magdalena Kołodziejska, spokesperson for Leroy Merlin Polska. “The renovation and re-commercialization will provide a comprehensive shopping experience, making this centre the top choice for local renovation and construction needs.”

The renovation will also upgrade the mall’s walkway, restrooms, and façade, enhancing the comfort for both customers and tenants. With nearly 550 parking spaces, the redeveloped centre aims to become a key shopping destination for the entire region.
