The state company Nuclearelectrica, the operator of the Cernavodă nuclear power plant, is moving its headquarters from Bucharest to the Crystal Tower office building, on Iancu de Hunedoara Boulevard, where it has rented spaces on 4 floors.

The building that will house Nuclearelectrica's new headquarters, Crystal Tower, was bought in 2018 by the Czech investment group PPF Group, in a transaction worth around EUR 50 million. The seller was Michael Stanciu, an American of Romanian origin who controls the consultancy and design firm Search Corporation.

The rent expenses at the new headquarters will be about RON 3.8 million per year (about RON 317,000 per month).
