It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Mike Heuer, a respected professional in real estate development and consultancy, who dedicated his career to shaping the built environment across Prague, the Czech Republic, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Frank’s professional journey spanned more than three decades, marked by significant contributions to the real estate and hospitality industries. After completing his studies at the College of Hotel Management in Berlin, he began his career in hotel and hospitality before moving into real estate development. He played pivotal roles in some of the region’s most prominent companies, including Karimpol, GVA Czechia, LORDSHIP, and BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he rose to leadership positions overseeing leasing, marketing, and office agency work.

Since 2017, Frank ran his own consultancy in Prague, advising international investors and companies on project development, leasing, and asset management across office, retail, hotel, hospitality, and logistics sectors. His expertise and dedication earned him the trust and respect of colleagues, clients, and partners alike.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frank will be remembered for his warmth, collegial spirit, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He built strong networks across the industry, leaving behind a legacy not only of buildings and projects but also of lasting friendships and professional mentorship.

Reflecting on his passing, Robert Fletcher, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of CIJ EUROPE, said: “Frank was more than a respected professional—he was a true gentleman of the real estate community. His insight, generosity, and integrity left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of working with him. The industry has lost a valued leader, and many of us have lost a good friend.”

His passing is a loss to the real estate community in Prague and beyond, but his contributions will continue to resonate in the projects and people he inspired.

May he rest in peace.
