Olympus, the third largest dairy producer in Romania, is investing more than EUR 40 million in the construction of a logistics centre in Halchiu, Brasov county, where the factory built in 2011 is located.
The logistics centre, which will have a total built-up area of 13,500 sqm, is in the construction phase and will be commissioned in stages, starting in January 2024. By the end of next year, it will be fully operational and integrated with the company-owned dairy plant in the immediate vicinity.

It will serve the local market as well as all countries to which Olympus dairy products manufactured in Romania are exported, including Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Bulgaria and Serbia.
