The real estate developer One United Properties, founded by bankers Victor Căpitanu and Andrei Diaconescu, is discussing with businessman Romeo Pomponiu, the owner of Steilmann stores, the purchase of a plot of land of about 5 hectares in the Bucharest neighborhood of Pajura, according to sources in the real estate market.

Romeo Pomponiu owns a valuable piece of land, about 5 hectares, next to the former Pajura bread factory, bought by the Portland Trust and on which the J8 Office Park office complex was built. The businessman is waiting for a Zonal Urban Plan for this land from 2015 and proposes the construction of commercial spaces, offices and homes.

Romeo Pomponiu's land could be valued at around EUR 40 million.
