Pavăl Holding, owned by the founders of Dedeman, and the Lithuanians from Apex Alliance acquired the five-star hotel complex Waldhaus Flims Wellness Resort in Switzerland.
The purchase represents the second international investment in this sector by Romanian entrepreneurs, after the purchase of the Grand Hotel Gardone in Italy in 2023.

“We greatly value the historic significance of the building and its stunning natural surroundings. Our goal is to preserve these unique elements, while carefully renovating the complex to offer an exceptional experience to our future guests, always respecting the roots of the hotel and its importance for the region," said Dragos Pavăl, president of Paval Holding.

Restoration plans will be drawn up and presented in the next period, and the reopening of Waldhaus Flims is planned for next year.
