Peakside Capital Advisors will start developing further stages of City Point Targówek and a new warehouse hall in Okęcie in 2024, announced Managing Director Roman Skowronski. At the same time, it is working on acquiring and preparing further urban warehouse locations in Poland.

"In 2024, we expect demand in the warehouse-industrial sector to strengthen, and we see strong demand for urban space from manufacturing companies. Tenants from this sector are among the most active groups in the City Point Targówek and City Point Okęcie parks we are commercialising. Both projects are very popular with tenants due to, among other things, their proximity to the city centre, and therefore easier access to the workforce and public transport," said Skowronski.

He estimated that the company is facing "an intense time and a lot of work" in 2024.

"We will focus on the commercialisation of new urban warehouse space in Warsaw, the construction of which we are starting this year. We are referring to the next phases of facilities in Targówek and the construction of a new warehouse hall in Okęcie. At the same time, we will continue to implement our strategy of sustainable development and innovative green solutions within our logistics property portfolio. Thus, we intend not only to develop this direction, but also to strongly increase the energy efficiency of the buildings in our portfolio," the Managing Director added.

He pointed out that, regardless of the ongoing projects, the company is constantly working on acquiring and preparing further urban locations in Poland.

"We have projects in the pipeline located both in Warsaw and in other large cities. Our area of interest includes both brownfield developments and land for development," Skowronski concluded.

Last year. Partners Group, a leading global private markets firm, acting on behalf of its clients, and Peakside Capital Advisors acquired a plot of land on Kinetyczna Street, located in the immediate vicinity of Warsaw Chopin Airport. The land of approximately 5 ha is planned to be used for the development of City Point Okęcie, an 11,000 sqm sustainable city logistics project.

In addition, Peakside Capital Advisors started construction of City Point Targówek, the largest logistics park in Warsaw, in the last year. It will provide 100,000 sqm of modern and sustainable warehouse space.
