OMV Petrom and Saint-Gobain Romania, part of the Saint-Gobain Group, world leader in the field of light and sustainable solutions for construction, announce the signing of an agreement for the supply of electricity from renewable sources for all Saint-Gobain facilities at the national level.

Based on this agreement, OMV Petrom will supply approximately 800 GWh of green energy in 14 Saint-Gobain locations in Romania over the next five years, thus contributing to the decarbonization objectives. Deliveries will begin in January 2026 and power will be obtained from wind and photovoltaic sources.

"We are pleased to announce this agreement with Saint-Gobain - it is more than an energy sales contract, it is a partnership for a future with low carbon emissions for the Romanian industry," said Franck Neel, member of the OMV Petrom board, responsible for Gas and Energy activity.
