Photon Energy begins construction of its seventh photovoltaic power plant

The company Photon Energy N.V. announces that the construction of the seventh photovoltaic power plant in Romania has begun, with a production capacity of 7.1 MWp. Located near the town of Săhăteni in Buzău county, the power plant will cover over 10 ha of arable land and will include 12,700 solar panels.
The new power plant is to start operation in the fourth quarter of 2022.

"We are very happy with the progress made in Romania, one of the main markets in Central and Eastern Europe, implementing the growth strategy announced in the Financial Report for 2022", said Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy Group.
