Photon Energy is considering issuing corporate bonds, which will most likely be offered through an exchange to holders of bonds maturing in October 2022, the company said.

Photon Energy announced its intention to issue corporate bonds, which will be offered in the first step in an exchange to holders of 2017/2022 bonds maturing on October 27, 2022 with an interest rate of 7.75%. New bonds not covered by the existing bondholders will be offered through a public offering and private placement to qualified investors in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg, and potentially from several other Central European countries.

Whether and to what extent the bonds will be issued will depend on the result of preliminary talks with selected institutional investors and on the market conditions, the company emphasized.

The company also announced that Bankhaus Scheich Wertpapierspezialist, based in Frankfurt am Main, as the exclusive global coordinator of the offering, will organize initial activities and manage the potential bond issue transaction.

Photon Energy provides solutions in the field of solar energy. The company has been listed on the main market of the WSE since January 2021.
