Photon Energy takes finance from EBRD for 30 MW photovoltaic projects in Romania

Photon Energy Group, a renewable energy company registered in the Netherlands, announces that it has signed a secured loan agreement of up to 15 million euros with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the completion of photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 30 MW in Romania.

The loan will be used to complete the construction of a portfolio of 6 photovoltaic projects in Romania (5 MW on average per project, 30 MW in total), as well as to support the expansion of the Lerta subsidiary, the operator of a virtual power plant (VPP).

Photon Energy is a regional renewable energy producer with an operational portfolio of 123.4 MW in small and medium-sized photovoltaic plants in Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Australia.
