PKF hospitality group expands with new office in Madrid to cover the Iberian Peninsula

PKF hospitality group, an international hotel, living, tourism and leisure consultancy, is expanding. The global company opened its new office in Madrid, C/ Orense 81, to cover the Iberian Peninsula.

The heads of PKF hospitality in Spain are Gabriele Kiessling and Stephan Reichelt said, "Hotel investments in Spain have exceeded pre-pandemic levels and reached a total of €3.2 billion. 2022 is confirming this trend with a robust pipeline of deals in place, and still more under negotiation. With positive market fundamentals ahead of us and a strong investor appetite, we are delighted to be part of PKF hospitality’s international expansion with the opening of the office in Madrid covering the Iberian Peninsula."

Gabriele Kiessling joined PKF hospitality group in Madrid in January 2021. As Managing Director, she leads the activities on the Iberian Peninsula and, as Head of Feasibility Studies & Valuations, she leads the corresponding teams globally. Prior to that, Gabriele spent 15 years working for various consulting firms such as HVS, CBRE and Solutions dot WG in the field of strategic consulting. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Real Estate Management from HTW Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management from the University of Surrey in London.

Stephan Reichelt joined PKF hospitality group in Madrid in January 2021. He brings over 25 years of consulting and operational experience within international hospitality management companies. As Managing Director, he oversees the activities of the PKF hospitality group on the Iberian Peninsula. Stephan is also involved in international asset management, strategic consultancy and project development assignments. Prior to joining the PKF hospitality group, Stephan held various management positions for international hotel groups in destinations including Raffles in London, InterContinental in Paris and Oman, and Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus, to name a few. Stephan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management from the International College of Hospitality Administration (ICHA Brig, César Ritz, Swiss Education Group) in Switzerland, a joint degree with the University of Massachusetts, Boston, US. Stephan has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2017.

In Spain, PKF hospitality will work closely with PKF Attest. The first successes of the joint venture were the ongoing support of an international investor in its acquisition process and commercial due diligence throughout Spain.
